Here is a collection of things to do in and around North Scottsdale for golfers.
We will keep adding information here as we learn about new activities and receive recommendations from visitors and local alike.
Golf courses in Scottsdale
Scottsdale, and North Scottsdale in particular, is one of the most golf course dense cities in the world. The warm, dry and sunny climate makes it the perfect golf destination 8-9 months out of the year. The choices range from well irrigated courses with palm trees to courses that exhibit the beauty of the Sonoran desert. The word sand-trap gets a new meaning and many golfers come back year after year.
- GolfNow is a great website listing some 30 golf courses including available tee-times and cost per player (typically from $25 to $250): GolfNow in Scottsdale
- Golf Link presents a more extensive list including courses in nearby cities, also offering some lower cost alternatives: Golf Link around Scottsdale
Restaurants in North Scottsdale
I hope to collect some of my own favorites here soon, but some of the more reliable sources for good food, gourmet food and everything in between are listed here:

- OpenTable allows you to directly book your reservation online. With some 300 restaurants in the Phoenix area you are bound to find a new favorite. Book your dinner experience in Scottsdale at OpenTable. I suggest you refine the search to include Carefree, Cave Creek and Scottsdale, otherwise you will have a long drive ahead of you.
Cultural experiences in North Scottsdale
