The Surroundings
Our home is located in the desert foothills near The Boulders and Troon North, in a quiet residential neighborhood that respects and leverages the beauty of the Sonoran desert. With more than 20 golf courses and luxury resorts within 15 minutes you will not lack for activities. Here in the north the city planners have created an oasis where shopping malls are hidden away, creating the sense of being far from hustle and bustle. However the truth is that within 6 miles there are two Safeways, a Target, an Albertson, a Walmart, three Starbucks and numerous restaurants and bars – you just can’t see them from the main road.
If that isn’t enough, about 15 minutes south you will experience the Kierland with high-end shopping and entertainment. Going another 15 minutes south takes you to The Fashion Mall and Old Scottsdale with its abundance of art walks and eclectic experiences.
If you chose to go in the other direction, 8 minutes north takes you to Carefree and Cave Creek, communities known for their multimillion dollar retirement homes as well as shopping, dining, fairs and exhibitions.
Scottsdale will not leave you wanting for things to do, but you may have to look behind the obvious to find it. To help you on your way we provide ample of guidance in the form of maps, magazines and books to help you experience the region and all it has to offer.
